Visiting Ardmore | Edmonton Photographer

I recently took a little time off to visit my friends in Ardmore, just outside of Bonnyville. Zoe and I spent all day Saturday making salsa, pickles, pickled carrots, and pasta sauce. On Sunday, we went to help out her boyfriend's mom find their cat Leon, and we went to talk to their cows.

Apparently, they had "mooved" fields, and when we went to go and find them, we found three. And they didn't want anything to do with us. So we decided to go and find the rest of the herd.

We found a whole bunch of young ones, and they were just so gosh darn cute!

They were very apprehensive at first, but after a few minutes, their curiosity got the best of them, and they started to come almost into arm's reach.

As they got more and more comfortable with Zoe and I being in the field, they let us scratch their heads.

All the calves came up to the fence as we left, as if to say goodbye. I can't wait to go back and visit again!

Thanks for having me, Zoe and Kurtis!

Here are a few more cow photos from the day!
