Hello friends! It's me, Renee, and I am so excited to share with you that the Veronica Vintage Team has grown, and I would love to take a minute to introduce to you our team members, and partners that you might see or hear from.
Like I said, I'm Renee, and I am the owner and operator of Veronica Vintage Portraiture Studio. I opened the business post-graduation from NAIT's Photographic Technology program in 2017, and was photographing my first wedding a week later. I absolutely loved taking photos in high school, but decided to pursue a Bachelor of Education. And, well... that didn't happen! I could not be more excited to be on this path.
Our hair and makeup team do an amazing job for our boudoir clients. Our hair stylist of choice, Joan Couling of Viking's Edge Hair Design, is not one to be in front of the camera, but her work is stunning, and she is the only person I trust to do my own hair. For our glam, we have Brittany Clarkson of Ador Makeup Art; and boy is she ever talented! These two get along like two peas in a pod, and have a great sense of humour, and work so well together.
New to the team is Amanda Snaychuk, our blog editor! She takes care of most of the blog posts - you'll see her name listed as the author when she's writing - and it has taken a huge workload from me. I personally am not the greatest blogger (my uploads are infrequent at best), so this is going to be a huge bonus to our team. While I might make an occasional post here and there, Amanda will be doing most of the writing.
I wouldn't be able to shoot most of my weddings without help from my amazing network of second shooters. Marina of Marina Christine Photography is my go-to gal; she even drove the 14 hours it took to get to Shelby and Matt's destination wedding in Osoyoos, BC, and dealt with my out of tune sing along to Ed Sheeran the entire way back. I also have an up and coming second shooter, Samuel Thompson of Samuel T Photography, who is just starting on his photographic career. You might be seeing a little of both of them, or a few of the other photographers that I have worked with in the past.
