Elise & Nicholas | Beaumont Engagement Photographer

They say nothing can stop love, and I guess even a global pandemic can’t stop these two. Meeting with Elise and Nicholas on the picturesque Whyte Avenue, in Edmonton, only a month before their elopement to Jasper was planned, the air had a slight chill to it but the evening sun was out, and graciously accentuated these two in its warm glow which paired well with their loving smiles.

Shooting in early March, just before social distancing regulations went into effect, we set out for our evening of joy amongst the mix of rustic and urban storefronts on Whyte creating a very casual, easy-going, and love-filled shoot. Nervous at first, as is common for those not used to being photographed, Elise and Nicholas shared a few laughs and over time, really seemed to enjoy the experience as we captured their love on film.

Unfortunately, due to the current state of the world, their wedding had to be postponed, but this lovely couple won’t let that stop them! And rightly so, their love shall prevail!

All of us at Veronica Vintage wait excitedly nonetheless as they persevere in choosing a new date for their big day! And we can’t wait to watch them walk hand in hand, with the same love-filled strength, into whatever the future may bring.

Congratulations on your engagement!
